Hepcludex is the first FDA-approved treatment for chronic hepatitis delta virus infection in the United States, while Livdelzi addresses primary biliary cholangitis and is being studied across broader disease populations.
Oncology and Cell Therapy
The oncology portfolio includes Trodelvy, a TROP2-directed antibody-drug conjugate, and the Yescarta and Tecartus CAR T-cell therapies. The acquisition of Arcellx added anitocabtagene autoleucel for multiple myeloma, while Tubulis added next-generation antibody-drug conjugates and a platform for developing additional targeted oncology products.
Inflammation and Immune Modulation
Gilead is building an inflammation portfolio through internally developed medicines and acquisitions. Livdelzi provides an initial commercial base, and the acquisition of Ouro Medicines added gamgertamig, a BCMAxCD3 T-cell engager being developed for autoimmune disease. The company is also exploring how oncology-derived immune-cell technologies can be applied to chronic immune disorders.
Multi-Modal Research Platform
Gilead's development capabilities now span small-molecule antivirals, long-acting formulations, antibody-drug conjugates, autologous cell therapy, and bispecific T-cell engagers.
