Why teams use this integration
Slack is a good fit when you want biotech news to land in a shared channel where traders, operators, or research teams can react quickly.
The alert includes a BioPharmSignal link, so the full article opens inside your product instead of sending people to an external source.
What the message contains
- Ticker and title
- A direct BioPharmSignal news URL
- A compact format that stays readable in busy channels
What to copy
- Create or reuse an incoming Slack webhook.
- Paste the webhook URL into the Slack form in BioPharmSignal.
- No secret is needed for Slack.
How it works
Save the webhook in Settings and BioPharmSignal will send a test message first.
After that, matching biotech news is delivered to the Slack channel tied to the webhook, with a click-through link back to BioPharmSignal.
Troubleshooting
- If the channel was changed, create a new Slack webhook and replace the old one in BioPharmSignal.
- If messages stopped appearing, confirm the webhook still exists and was not rotated.
- If you are testing in a private channel, make sure the Slack app still has posting access there.
