Amgen markets Repatha for LDL cholesterol reduction and is developing olpasiran, an siRNA designed to lower lipoprotein(a). The OCEAN(a) Phase 3 program includes secondary-prevention outcomes, primary-prevention outcomes, and coronary-plaque studies, giving the company multiple approaches to reducing atherosclerotic cardiovascular risk.
Rare Disease Franchise
The Horizon acquisition added UPLIZNA, TEPEZZA, KRYSTEXXA, and TAVNEOS, creating a sizable rare-disease business. Amgen is expanding these assets into new populations while developing dazodalibep, daxdilimab, and AMG 732 across Sjogren's disease, autoimmune disorders, and thyroid eye disease.

Oncology and BiTE Platform
The oncology business includes BLINCYTO and IMDELLTRA, both built on Amgen's bispecific T-cell engager platform. IMDELLTRA is being studied across extensive-stage and limited-stage small-cell lung cancer in multiple combinations and dosing formats, while BLINCYTO development continues across leukemia settings and selected autoimmune diseases.
