Cord Blood and Tissue Banking
Cryo-Cell International, founded in 1989, is one of the earliest private cord blood banks. Together with affiliated organizations, it has stored more than 250,000 cord blood and cord tissue samples, generating revenue from processing and long-term storage services.
Private Family Banking

Public Cord Blood Banking
Cryo-Cell also operates a public banking program with Duke University and maintains a donation site at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. The public bank has supported more than 900 transplants.
