Outlook Therapeutics develops and commercializes LYTENAVA, a bevacizumab formulation manufactured specifically for intravitreal administration in retinal diseases. The company is building a focused ophthalmology franchise around an approved alternative to repackaged bevacizumab originally produced for oncology use.
LYTENAVA for Wet AMD
LYTENAVA, or bevacizumab-vikg in the United States and bevacizumab gamma in Europe, is a VEGF inhibitor approved for neovascular age-related macular degeneration. By binding VEGF-A, it is intended to suppress abnormal blood-vessel growth and vascular leakage that contribute to progressive vision loss.
US Commercial Franchise
LYTENAVA is the first and only FDA-approved ophthalmic formulation of bevacizumab for wet AMD. Outlook is establishing US market access, reimbursement, supply, medical-affairs, patient-support, and retina-specialist commercial capabilities ahead of product availability.
International Commercialization
LYTENAVA is also authorized in the European Union and United Kingdom and has been launched in Germany, Austria, and the UK. Outlook is pursuing additional country launches directly and through regional distribution partners.
