RNA CAR-T for Autoimmune Disease
Cartesian Therapeutics develops cell therapies for autoimmune diseases using mRNA-engineered CAR-T cells. Its approach is designed to produce controlled, temporary CAR expression and permit outpatient repeat dosing without preconditioning chemotherapy.
Descartes-08 in Myasthenia Gravis
Descartes-08 is an autologous BCMA-directed CAR-T therapy in the Phase 3 AURORA trial for acetylcholine-receptor-antibody-positive myasthenia gravis. The study compares six once-weekly outpatient infusions with placebo on top of standard care.
Myositis Programs
The Phase 2 TRITON trial is evaluating Descartes-08 in adults with dermatomyositis and antisynthetase syndrome. The Phase 1/2 HELIOS study extends the program into children and young adults with juvenile dermatomyositis and other autoimmune diseases.
