Genprex develops gene therapies for cancer and diabetes. Its platform uses non-viral nanoparticles to deliver tumor-suppressor genes systemically and separate gene constructs intended to restore insulin production.
REQORSA Tumor-Suppressor Therapy
REQORSA, or quaratusugene ozeplasmid, delivers the TUSC2 tumor-suppressor gene in a lipid nanoparticle. The therapy is designed to restore anticancer signaling and make tumors more responsive to targeted therapy or immunotherapy.
Acclaim Lung Cancer Programs
Acclaim-1 combines REQORSA with osimertinib in EGFR-mutated non-small cell lung cancer after progression on Tagrisso. Acclaim-3 evaluates REQORSA with atezolizumab in extensive-stage small cell lung cancer.
Biomarker-Guided Development
Genprex is working with Roche to validate biomarkers that may identify patients most likely to benefit from REQORSA combinations. A clearer biomarker strategy could guide enrollment and interpretation of later clinical studies.
Diabetes Gene Therapy Portfolio
The company also owns preclinical diabetes programs designed to convert pancreatic cells into insulin-producing cells. These assets broaden the platform beyond oncology but remain earlier in development.
