Allosteric Modulator Developer
Addex Therapeutics develops small-molecule allosteric modulators for neurological disorders. Its strategy combines internally controlled programs, partnered assets, and economic exposure to a broader pipeline advanced through the Neurosterix spinout.
Internally Controlled Programs
Lead candidate dipraglurant is an mGlu5 negative allosteric modulator with potential applications in recovery from brain injury, stroke, and traumatic brain injury. Addex also has a GABAB positive allosteric modulator program for chronic cough.
Partnered Development Model
Indivior is developing an Addex-originated GABAB PAM for substance use disorders. This partnership model allows Addex to retain program economics while external collaborators fund and operate selected development programs.
Neurosterix Exposure
Addex holds a 20% interest in Neurosterix, which is advancing M4 PAM and mGlu7 NAM programs for schizophrenia, psychosis, mood disorders, and other central nervous system conditions.
