Nanobody-Based Immunology
MoonLake Immunotherapeutics develops therapies for inflammatory diseases using Nanobodies, compact antibody-derived proteins designed for tissue penetration, molecular stability and multivalent target binding.
Sonelokimab
Sonelokimab is a trivalent Nanobody that binds IL-17A and IL-17F while also interacting with albumin. MoonLake is developing the candidate across dermatology and rheumatology indications with substantial unmet need.
Hidradenitis Suppurativa
The VELA Phase 3 program evaluated sonelokimab in adults with hidradenitis suppurativa, while VELA-TEEN extends development into adolescents. The adult program supports the company's planned U.S. biologics-license application.
Psoriatic Arthritis
IZAR-1 and IZAR-2 are global Phase 3 studies in active psoriatic arthritis. IZAR-1 met all Week 16 clinical endpoints for the selected sonelokimab regimen, and IZAR-2 includes a standard-of-care comparator in patients who did not respond adequately to TNF inhibitors.
Additional Inflammatory Diseases
MoonLake is also studying sonelokimab in axial spondyloarthritis and preparing a clinical program in palmoplantar pustulosis, extending the franchise across multiple IL-17-driven diseases.
