Food-Allergy Immunotherapy Company
DBV Technologies is developing treatments for food allergy using epicutaneous immunotherapy. Its programs are designed to deliver small quantities of allergen through intact skin with the goal of desensitizing patients while limiting systemic exposure.
Viaskin Patch Platform
The Viaskin patch places allergen on the skin, where it is taken up by immune cells without requiring an injection or oral dose. The approach is intended to offer a convenient, non-invasive treatment format suitable for young children.
Viaskin Peanut in Children
The lead program, Viaskin Peanut, is being developed for peanut-allergic children aged four through seven years. The registration package is supported by the pivotal Phase 3 VITESSE study and is being prepared for U.S. regulatory submission.
Toddler and Infant Development
DBV is extending Viaskin Peanut into younger age groups through the COMFORT Toddlers safety study in children aged one through three years and the THRIVE study in peanut-allergic infants aged six through twelve months. This lifecycle strategy could broaden the addressable population across early childhood.
Allergy-Specialist Commercial Model
If approved, Viaskin Peanut would be marketed through allergists and other specialists who manage pediatric food allergy. DBV is building U.S. medical, safety, regulatory, supply-chain, and commercial capabilities while producing pre-commercial inventory.
