Arcturus Therapeutics develops mRNA medicines for respiratory and liver diseases. Its platform combines LUNAR lipid-mediated delivery, STARR self-amplifying RNA technology, and internal drug-substance and drug-product manufacturing expertise.
Inhaled mRNA for Cystic Fibrosis
ARCT-032 is an inhaled mRNA therapy designed to express functional CFTR protein in the lungs of people with cystic fibrosis, including those with Class I mutations who may not respond to current modulators. The program is being evaluated through daily inhaled dosing in a Phase 2 study.
Systemic mRNA for OTC Deficiency
ARCT-810 is an intravenously delivered mRNA therapy intended to restore ornithine transcarbamylase activity in people with OTC deficiency. The Phase 2 program includes adult and pediatric development and is intended to inform an end-of-Phase 2 regulatory path.
Self-Amplifying RNA Vaccine Portfolio
KOSTAIVE is the first approved self-amplifying mRNA COVID-19 vaccine and validates the company's STARR platform. Arcturus has regained global control of KOSTAIVE and a broader infectious-disease portfolio that includes influenza, RSV, and EBV programs, subject to existing regional arrangements.
Manufacturing and Development Partnerships
Arcturus works with Thermo Fisher Scientific on potential Phase 3 development and manufacturing for ARCT-032, with BARDA on pandemic influenza initiatives, and through ARCALIS on Japanese mRNA manufacturing. These relationships extend development capacity without requiring the company to build every capability internally.
