Rare Hematology Focus
X4 Pharmaceuticals develops therapies for rare disorders in which dysregulated CXCR4 signaling contributes to abnormal retention of immune cells in bone marrow. Its lead molecule, mavorixafor, is an oral CXCR4 antagonist designed to mobilize neutrophils into circulation.
Chronic Neutropenia Development
Mavorixafor is being evaluated in the global pivotal 4WARD Phase 3 trial for congenital, acquired primary autoimmune and idiopathic chronic neutropenia. The study tests once-daily mavorixafor, with or without G-CSF, in patients who experience recurrent or serious infections.
Approved WHIM Syndrome Product
Mavorixafor is approved as XOLREMDI for WHIM syndrome, including authorization in the European Union. X4 has partnered with Norgine for European commercialization, giving the company a partner-led route to expand access while concentrating internal resources on clinical development.
