Next-Generation Immuno-Oncology Platform
Purple Biotech develops next-generation immunotherapies designed to increase antitumor activity while limiting toxicity. Its CAPTN-3 platform consists of masked trispecific antibodies that simultaneously target tumors and activate T cells and natural killer cells.
IM1240 Trispecific Antibody
IM1240 is a capped CD3 × 5T4 × NKG2A trispecific antibody. In patient-derived tumor samples, it demonstrated activity in treatment-resistant settings, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma resistant to PD-1 therapy or PD-1 plus chemotherapy and bladder cancer resistant to enfortumab vedotin plus PD-1 therapy.
Conditional Immune Activation
CAPTN-3 molecules are designed to remain masked outside the tumor microenvironment and become activated at the disease site. This approach seeks to combine T-cell and NK-cell engagement while reducing systemic immune toxicity.
Existing Clinical Assets
Purple Biotech also owns clinical-stage programs including CM24 and NT219, although further development depends on external partnership or investment. Current value creation is increasingly centered on CAPTN-3, IM1240, and the design of additional trispecific combinations.
