Opioid-Dependence Franchise
Buvidal is a weekly or monthly injectable buprenorphine treatment for opioid dependence that is commercialized across Europe, Australia, and the MENA region. The same product is marketed in the United States as Brixadi by partner Braeburn, providing Camurus with a royalty-based position in the US opioid-use-disorder market.
Acromegaly Commercial Portfolio
Oczyesa is a once-monthly, self-administered octreotide depot approved in the European Union and United Kingdom for maintenance treatment of acromegaly. The product uses a ready-to-use autoinjector and is designed to replace clinic-administered somatostatin-receptor-ligand injections. Commercial rollout began in Germany and is expanding into Sweden and the United Kingdom.
CAM2029 Multi-Indication Development
CAM2029 is the underlying octreotide-depot program for Oczyesa and the proposed US product Oclaiz. Beyond acromegaly, Camurus is evaluating CAM2029 in the Phase 3 SORENTO study for gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors and in the Phase 2b POSITANO program for polycystic liver disease. The SORENTO study compares CAM2029 with current first-line somatostatin-receptor-ligand therapies in patients with metastatic or unresectable disease.
Metabolic and Partnered Pipeline
CAM2056 is a once-monthly semaglutide depot being developed for overweight, obesity, and other metabolic diseases after completing a Phase 1b study. Camurus is also applying FluidCrystal through partnerships with Eli Lilly on long-acting incretin and amylin-receptor-agonist products, with Rhythm Pharmaceuticals on CAM4072 for genetic obesity disorders, and with Gubra on a long-acting parathyroid-hormone analogue for hypoparathyroidism.
