### In Vivo CRISPR Medicines

### EDIT-401
EDIT-401 is designed to upregulate LDL receptor protein in the liver and thereby lower LDL cholesterol. Preclinical studies showed large mean LDL-C reductions and also demonstrated reductions in apolipoprotein B and lipoprotein(a), supporting its development as a one-time treatment for hyperlipidemia.
### Initial HeFH Development
The first clinical indication is heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia, an inherited disorder that produces elevated LDL-C and early cardiovascular risk.
